She didn’t have the time to bring flowers this morning or to wish Sophie in the hallway. All she wanted was to share the special moment with him who didn’t have the slightest clue about their situation.

She opened the door with ragged breath, saw him lying there with his eyes still closed; he hasn’t said a word or moved an inch since five months. Walking up to him with moist eyes she placed his hand on her round belly.

Moments passed, she felt movement – impatient kicking, inside her, followed by the feeble fluttering of fingers on her skin.
