Christmas Cookies

The festive season is upon us, so before you guys get busy with the celebrations, I wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS! I would say go all out this year and enjoy yourself, you deserve it. πŸ€—πŸ€— Wait! Before you go, read the special message (in the poemπŸ˜‰) written just for you.

The flour is spread white
Like the snow sheet outside
Filling everyone with great delight

Adding sugar, butter and beaten eggs
With some nutmeg, cocoa and orange zest
 Enhances the Christmas fest
 Β
As I roll the dough round
 Kisses from Snowman dance around
 Appreciating everything that I’ve found
 Β
 Then comes the shape decision
I mix them all in no serious fashion
Stars, flakes, trees fit perfectly in season
 Β
Decorating the goodies is the fun part
That’s where I can flaunt my inner art
Believe me; my skills are off the chart
 Β
This was my marvelous festive baking
(mmhm… they really turned out ahhmaazingg!)
I can already see the Santa Claus dancing
 Β
Now before I leave you and sign out
I’ve got a message for you which I shout
β€œHave a cookie and never let your inner-fire burnout”

Disclaimers: The image of the cookies is not mine (ah! I wish), it is taken from google. The recipe might be faulty too, try it at your own risk.πŸ˜‰

Cheers and Merry Christmas πŸ’•πŸ˜Š
