Broadening Horizons

As they say, it is important to keep trying new things so that you keep learning and growing. Therefore, I have thought about making some changes to this blog so that I can keep learning and improving my skills.

This weekend I couldn’t post anything as I was busy revamping and generating some new ideas about the same. I uncluttered the bubble and also redecorated it with new theme.

There are few changes which I have made:

Award Free

I am making this blog Award Free. For this, I have deleted my previous award posts as well. Now, don’t get me wrong, while I feel super elated every time I get nominated by you guys but I don’t seem to be able to find time to write a post every time and it feels wrong. Moreover, I would rather have someone else get nominated who does justice to the awards by writing a post sincerely.

So, to make this easy for my self conscience I am taking this step. I am still thankful for each and every nomination that I have received. Thank You!

Article Writing

Even though I love writing fiction and will continue to write stories and poems, I want to try my hand at writing articles as well. Therefore, I plan to add articles on various topics like writing, blogging, lifestyle etc. So, don’t get alarmed if you see other work on my bubble than my usual story/poetry.

Resources for fellow Writers

This one is for all those fellow bloggers/writers who write poetry/fiction and want to get their work published in magazine and journals. If you are thinking “yes! that’s me” then there’s some good news for you. I plan to add a monthly resource post for you all. The post will be a consolidated list of various magazines (with links) which are accepting submissions for the upcoming month.

Hopefully, you will benefit from this and if you get something out of it, let me know, we can celebrate together!

Well, this was all from my side of the world, if something else gets cooked in my brain I’ll let you know. So, stay tuned for more!

Stay safe, Cheers!

  1. So happy to see you grow more and more. I agree with you on awards, I too feel guilty when I don’t respond back though I don’t have the courage to do what you are doing. 😬😬
What a wonderful idea to use your blog a resource for many others. You are sincerely a very giving person. I look forward to your articles too.

It is only a insignificant way to give back, I will be elated if it actually helps anyone.

  2. Always happy to see a post from you! I can understand about awards. I love reading the interviews and wouldn’t mind answering them either but the idea of picking a few blogs to feature without featuring others always stresses me out.
That’s wonderful that you might feature some places to publish! Awesome and rock on, A. xoxoxo πŸŽ‰πŸŽΈ

    1. Thank you, Lia. That too! Choosing some and leaving others gets weird for me also.
I hope people will benefit from it and will be able to reach a much bigger audience.
