He had never seen the sea, ever, he had lost his eyesight before that opportunity but his ears were sharp enough to distinguish every possible musical note even the ones which emanated from the deep abyss of the sea and surfaced only with the unruly waves of the ocean.
That is how he recognized everyone, from their notes, their sounds revealed the untold stories which sat like a heavy burden on their chests.
He had heard countless stories in his life, buried deep inside people’s hearts and now, everyday, he unburdens their souls by weaving a melodious rendition from their unheard tales, wondering if anyone listens.
