Thousand Miles

As I shed all my leaves & embark on a journey anew,

to the land where no one eaves so, mark my words a few-

“This life is all you have,

shape it like all you want.

Don’t let other drag you down

and forget the words I can’t”

“This life is all you have,

short to hold any grudges

and larger than anything imagined

if loved with an open heart”

There are a million things of which I wish to sing

but as my last leaf withers away,

remember to never let your light sway.

Some kindness, compassion and smiles

will last you a thousand miles.

    1. Its the toughest thing out there to shape our life ‘EXACTLY’ the we want. Maybe, we humans have the habit of choosing the unnecessarily difficult ‘shapes’ for our life.
