Hi pals! It is week-8 of Twenty Words Tuesday and I hope you all are doing good! Last week’s prompt was – Butterfly Effect which was received wonderfully. If you haven’t had a chance to read the wonderful 20-word stories of previous week, go read them now!
Cheers to all those who could join us in this week.
This week’s prompt – Rejuvenation. Below is my take on the prompt in 20-words, I hope you’ll like it. Now, hop on the wagon and show me your skills.
This Week’s Prompt:
Rejuvenation
He sucked life from her jugular with an overpowering frenzy and with every swig she was awakened further into abyss.
To read more such tiny tales on this week’s prompt, scroll down to the comment section and find the links to amazing 20-word stories written by fantastic writers!
Come, join in! All you need to do is:
- Write an exactly 20-word story (excluding the title) using the prompt (the prompt word may/may not be present in the story).
- Ping-back your story to this post, so that everyone (including myself) can read your version.
- Use the banner given below and the tag- TWT on your post, to help locate the story in WP reader.

Remember to write before the next prompt which drops in next Tuesday! Your precious thoughts are always more than welcome.
Don’t worry! Even if you are late in discovering us, ping-back to this post and I would love to read your tale.
Until next time, Cheers
[…] Last week’s prompt was – Rejuvenation which was received wonderfully therefore I plan to extend those 20-words a little more for a short piece which I’ll share soon. If you haven’t had a chance to read the wonderful 20-word stories of previous week, go read them now! […]

Thank you so much, Ben, I can wholeheartedly say the same about you as well. Take care, friend.
(PS: I was wondering if you are willing and open to guest-post on your Brothers Campfire?)

Oh that’s so wonderful to hear, Ben! Thank you! I was thinking of writing a short story for your blog (since Brothers Campfire is about storytelling around the campfire) but only if you think that’s okay.

I do think it is ok! I would love this. I do not know how the logistics work to ensure you get the maximum views and subscribers at your site. Perhaps you do. I am reaching out to my dad, who has some knowledge in this matter and have not heard from him yet.
How have you done this before?

I am glad. I also don’t much idea about the logistics per se and frankly it doesn’t matter all that extremely much. I would be grateful for the opportunity.
I have done this only a few times, previously, in which once I was added as a contributor which gave me the freedom to design my own post but the editing and publishing rights were ofcourse with the site owner.
Alternatively, I could email you the story and you can post it on my behalf, quoting me as the author of course.
In both the cases, you can add a few lines about me as intro for your readers and a link to my website.
That’s all I know about this, if you have any better ways I would be glad to know them too.

Ok. How about you email the story and I will look in to how it says Bulbul wrote this post. That way we can collaborate before it is posted. I really like this idea and I want the traffic going the right direction.

Yes, that sounds great! I am very glad to know that you like it, I am excited over this as well! Do you have any particular theme/topic in mind for the story?

I do not have a topic. I know you are incredibly creative and will think of something. Some members of my audience include young teenagers and devout God fearing folks. Your work reflects the ability to reach this demographic.

Thank you Ben. I’ll contact you once I have written the story, it might take a while as I haven’t thought about the genre. I’ll keep in mind your audience. Thanks again!

I look forward to reading and posting it. I think if you subscribe on my actual website, I can make you a contributor temporarily.

Oh that’s great! I am already following you, I’ll subscribe with the email as well.

I will see if that assists in making you a contributor. I cannot find the option for some reason.

That’s okay, Ben, we will surely figure something out once the story is ready to be posted. Cheers

Recently, I was challenged to write about a mermaid. This one is different for me. I am about 1000 words in.

Oh! That’s very interesting topic, indeed! I could write my take on the same, if you want, like a collaboration?

I think folks would like to know you. You are a little mysterious. I bet you have some stories to tell like the umbrella!
As for a collaboration, lets plan one that I have not worked on. This one is prettt narrow minded in focus.

Ha! I don’t know about mysterious, but I see your point, I will write something with that in mind. 🙂
