He paced restlessly outside his home, which was nothing but just one room, waiting impatiently for the news of the arrival of his first child. The streets were deserted at this hour of the night and the only occasional sounds were the distant horns of the freight trucks on the nearby Delhi- Agra highway. People…
The Blue Blanket-Akanksha Singh — Brother’s Campfire
Very recently, I had the opportunity to write a short story for the very amazing blog of Benjamin – Brother’s Campfire. When I asked him, he agreed immediately and was extremely kind and generous to let me write for his blog. Brother’s Campfire is known for its enticing ongoing tales and I would encourage you to Gather ’round and hear a tale…
All your thoughts about The Blue Blanket are most welcome and don’t forget to participate in this week’s Twenty Words Tuesday; try writing 20-word tale, I hear it is fun! Also, I would love to know if you are interested in a Book Club? I might start one, we can read a book every month together.
Cheers, until next time 🙏🤗
Hello, Bulbul. I look forward to another contribution when you are up for it.🤠🔥

Hi Ben! Sorry for a late reply, I was travelling and had no connection.
I am honored that you thought of me, things have been a little hectic lately and I am trying to find time for writing. So, I can’t say anything right now. Sorry Ben, but I will surely let you know once I am in a better place.
Thank you, hope you understand!
Cheers and have a great week.🤗🙏💙

They were okay, I had to travel under compulsion for some exams and it wasn’t a cheery affair at all due to the weather and lack of trains & lockdown & covid.
Thank you, Ben, I am really touched and will always remember that. It means a lot to me that I can consider Campfire my place. THANK YOU ❤💕🙏

I have spoken to others in India who said they were away as well. Compulsory travel is not pleasant to me.
It is indeed your place. 🏡 🤠🔥👩

What would a book club look like?

For sure!
I was thinking of an online club, nothing overtly formal, where the members could read a book every month (with me) and talk about it after completing it through social media.
Of course, that is the rough outline and ideas are welcome for improvement.

We all have an impulse to pass something down to our children, whether it be an inheritance, a collection of poems, or a blue blanket! Lovely story! Have a great day! 🙂
