I have loved stories since I was old enough to understand what a story was and it is the one thing that has stayed with me all this time. I remember pestering every elder around me to tell me stories, and the longer the better; I didn’t even mind the repetition of tales as long as I got to hear one. Believe me, they were so relieved once I learned to read.
Books helped me in ways that I can’t even begin to explain; they made me realize that it isn’t the end of the world if you are not a pretty girl, that it is okay to be the ‘unpopular-quiet-kid’. They made me fall in love with love and also told me that I don’t need a ‘knight in the shining armor’ to get out of the tower.
Books made me believe that magic exists and they also showed me how much more beautiful ‘real’ things can be. They made me believe in heroism and happy endings and also told me that happy endings aren’t real.
I could go on indefinitely about the importance and benefits of reading but that’s not the point of this post. Instead, I wanted to share Bbubble Book Club with you all.

Book Club launching on 1st January, 2021
(The countdown clock is not properly visible in the WP reader, please visit the actual site to make sense of it.)
You can join me if you love reading or even if you want to give it a chance, believe me, it is worth it! We will read one work of fiction every month and I’ll post more details in near future (once I figure them out, myself).
To all those who think that they don’t like reading, it is just a matter of one right book.
How did you discover reading? Has reading changed your life? I would love to hear from you.
